
The National Conference League has announced the 2022 Player of the Year nominations for each of its four divisions.
The season will climax with the Premier Division Grand Final at Featherstone Rovers on 8th October to complete yet another hugely competitive season in front of the OURLeague live cameras.
But the individual awards acknowledge some sensational personal performances.
The NCL Player of the Year will be named from the Premier Division where league Leaders, West Hull's inspirational second-row forward Ben Arbon is up against Wath Brow Hornets dynamic hooker Ellison Holgate and Hunslet Club Parkside's Craig McShane, who is looking for an unprecedented third Award.
Division One has been a melting pot all season and there is no surprise that Champion’s Kells feature with outstanding Jordan Burns who has scored 18 tries this term, nominated alongside Stanningley's workaholic hooker Dan Barcoe and West Bowling points scorer supreme Harry Williams.
Stuart Biscomb of Normanton Knights is up for the award in Division Two and faces stiff opposition in Harry Files who has been ultra-consistent for Woolston Rovers, and Blain Marwood from Barrow Island.
In Division Three Nathan Conroy of East Leeds has enjoyed another excellent year and will be pushed all the way for the coveted Player of the Year award by free-scoring Ciaran Dean from Waterhead Warriors and Dan Johnson who has played a magnificent season at Eastmoor Dragons.
