Tryz

The RFL launched Tryz with our partners Access Sport in 2022. Since then, we've trained, equipped and upskilled community clubs across the country to deliver inclusive pan-disability Rugby League.

Our joint mission is to support all Rugby League clubs to be disability inclusive and to change the sport of Rugby League for good so that all young people have the opportunity to play the sport they love in a fun, inclusive and accessible environment.

We are supporting community Rugby League clubs to establish and launch their own Tryz activities, providing them with the tools and resources they need to become truly inclusive of young people.

Tryz is a fun, friendly, disability-inclusive Rugby League offer for young people, based on Touch and Tag Rugby principles. It is run by Access Sport in partnership with The Rugby Football League and is delivered by our community clubs.

Tryz is for everyone. It is for all disabled young people aged 5 - 25, as well as those with long-term health conditions. Parents, carers, and siblings are encouraged to join in the fun!

Rugby League is a sport that can be adapted for many different ability levels. We train, equip and support community rugby clubs so that more disabled young people can experience the life-changing experience of playing inclusive Rugby League.
