Girls League Premier Divisions 2026 Semi-Finals are happening this Saturday

Girls League Premier Divisions 2026 Semi-Finals are happening this Saturday

The Girls League Premier Divisions' semi-finals will take place on Saturday 5th September, with Under 14s, Under 15s and Under 16s sides competing for a coveted place in the Grand Finals next weekend at Batley Bulldogs on Saturday 12th.

After a competitive season across the age groups, the Play-Offs will showcase the strength of the Girls League and the bright future of the female game.

Semi-Finals Preview:

Under 14s

Thatto Heath Crusaders enter the Under 14s Play-Offs as League Leaders after winning 13 of their 14 games. They will face fourth-placed Shaw Cross Sharks, the only side to take points from Thatto this season after a 16-16 draw.

In the other semi-final, second-placed Myton Warriors meet third-placed Rose Bridge Pantheresses. Myton won both league meetings, but the narrow margins mean this tie is still finely balanced.

Fixtures:

SF1: Thatto Heath Crusaders vs Shaw Cross Sharks; SF2: Myton Warriors vs Rose Bridge Pantheresses.

Under 15s

Hull KR, last season’s League and Cup winners, continue their push for more silverware after finishing as League Leaders in the Under 15s division. They will take on Siddal in the first semi-final.

The second semi-final sees Dewsbury Moor face Culcheth Eagles. Dewsbury Moor finished second and will be aiming to reach the final, but Culcheth Eagles have already beaten them this season and will provide strong opposition.

Fixtures: SF1: Hull Kingston Rovers vs Siddal; SF2: Dewsbury Moor vs Culcheth Eagles.

Under 16s

Drighlington come into the Under 16s Play-Offs after another dominant league campaign, finishing top of the table with only one defeat. They will face Thatto Heath Crusaders, giving Thatto a second team in the Girls League Play-Off stages.

The other semi-final brings together Leigh Miners Rangers and Oulton Raidettes, who have each taken a win from their league meetings this season, setting up a closely contested tie.

Fixtures: SF1: Drighlington vs Thatto Heath Crusaders; SF2: Leigh Miners Rangers vs Oulton Raidettes.

Supporters are encouraged to look out for the semi-final results and save the date for the Grand Finals on Saturday 12 September at Batley Bulldogs.

We’d love you to join us in supporting the players and celebrating their achievements.

More finals details will be shared soon.
