The Rugby Football League is delighted to announce the shortlist for the 2024 Community Volunteer Awards.
The awards were introduced earlier this year and will recognise the dedication and impressive contributions of eight volunteers from across the game.
Members of the RFL Community Board will now go away and cast their votes on who should win each category. The winners will then be presented with their awards at club events across the Autumn with all awards announced at the end of October.
RFL Director of Development, Marc Lovering, said: “I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who nominated a local volunteer for this year’s awards. We were inundated with some amazing stories across all eight categories which just proves how important volunteers are to Rugby League.
“A massive congratulations to everyone who has made the shortlist, and whilst only one person can win each category, you are all heroes in our eyes.”
