Impact Performance boost National Conference League in 2023

The National Conference League (NCL) are delighted to announce a new title partnership deal with Impact Performance, the UK's leading sports nutrition brand.

For the 2023 season, the Rugby League’s premier Community-based competition will be known as the Impact Performance National Conference League.

The Impact Performance NCL will again be a four-division competition including 46 clubs from across the North of England, and including two new names for 2023.

Ellenborough Rangers have been accepted to join the Third Division, where they will enhance a strong Cumbrian presence already including Seaton Rangers, Millom and Hensingham.

The other new name is in the Premier Division and involves the 2022 champions as Hunslet Club Parkside have merged with their neighbours Hunslet Warriors to form a new club, to be known as Hunslet ARLFC.

The NCL Chair, Trevor Hunt, said: “We are delighted to be partnered with Impact Performance who work so closely with many elite athletes to assist them in attaining their goals. It fits in perfectly with the ethos of the NCL which is to help all our players, administrators and clubs to be the very best that they can be.

“We appreciate that many modern day Rugby League players at all levels look to using UK Sport approved rehydrating and nutrition supplements, aligned with healthy diets, to protect and maintain their bodies. This partnership is one that will benefit the players and their clubs directly through bespoke provision of personalised nutrition products, at a hugely discounted rate that will particularly help their pockets rather than the off-the-shelf variants they currently use.

“It is a 12-month deal with a 12-month option. This is something the players have been seeking and we feel this will help them to improve their health whilst seeking to optimise their performance.”

Paul Sculthorpe MBE, the Rugby League legend who is Brand Ambassador for Impact Performance and a Director of Rhino RL, said: “I think this is a perfect match for Impact Performance and the NCL.

“All players, present and past, know the true value of good nutrition and supplements. Impact Performance products allow you to perform at your very best, and recover quickly to go again. Even though I’ve been retired a while, I still do my share of high intensity training - and Impact Performance is a big help.

“Rhino Rugby League are the Official Distributor of Impact Performance products and they will be in contact with all clubs in the next few days explaining how they can benefit from the NCL discounts.”
