On Bastille Day, we take a trip back to the end of 2021 as our England Women travelled to the Stade Gilbert Brutus in Perpignan to take on France in the latest in our extended England Rugby League highlights series!
England Women had already enjoyed a dominant victory over Wales earlier in 2021, 60-0 at Warrington's Halliwell Jones Stadium, and were now looking to go two from two.
The England Women side that took to the field that day:
Tara Stanley, Fran Goldthorp, Savannah Andrade, Amy Hardcastle, Caitlin Beevers; Jodie Cunningham, Beth Stott; Grace Field, Tara Jones, Chantelle Crowl, Emily Rudge, Hollie Dodd, Vicky Molyneux.
And on the interchange bench were Shona Hoyle, Paige Travis, Vicky Whitfield and Rachael Woosey. The side were led by Head Coach Craig Richards.
