Betfred Super League Round 13 Preview

Thursday - Warrington Wolves v St Helens - 8pm kick off on Sky Sports Arena

Warrington are boosted by the return of Gareth Widdop who has missed the last three through injury, but they will be without in-form youngster Josh thewlis for the game after he picked up a knee injury in Round 12. Meanwhile young forward Luke Thomas could make his debut after being named in Daryl Powell's squad for the first time.

Kristian Woolf can call on a largely unchanged squad as he continues to adapt to matchday without Lewis Dodd. The only change to the 21-man squad sees youngster Dan Hill replace fellow prospect Jumah Sambou as he goes in search of an 11th league win of the season.

Friday - Salford Red Devils v Castleford Tigers - 8pm kick off on - Sky Sports Arena

Greg Burke is a headline return to Salford's squad after he missed their impressive defeat of Leeds last week. Forward pair Sam Luckley and King Vuniyayawa drop out of Paul Rowley's 21-man squad for the clash as Salford search for a second-successive win.

In opposition, Lee Radford's in-form Castleford Tigers are looking for a sixth-successive home win. Their only change from last week's win over Hull KR is the departure of Liam Watts from the 21-man squad, he misses the game through suspension and is replaced by youngster Sam Hall.

Friday - Huddersfield Giants v Toulouse Olympique - 7.45pm kick off at the John Smith's Stadium

Ian Watson makes five changes to his squad from last week's win over fellow Challenge Cup finalists Wigan as a host of stars return.

Jermaine McGillvary, Chris Hill, Josh Jones, Jack Cogger and Seb Ikahihifo have all been added to his 21-man squad for tomorrow, Theo Fages, Louis Senior, Oliver Roberts, Nathan Mason and Jack Ashworth are the five players to drop out.

New arrival Corey Norman is set to make his Toulouse debut this week after being named in their 21-man squad by Head Coach Sylvain Houles. There is also a boost for Latrell Schaumkel who could make his first appearance of the season after recovering from a knee injury which has kept him out for the past seven months.

Lloyd White and Ilias Bergal are the players they replace.

Friday - Leeds Rhinos v Wakefield Trinity - 8pm kick off at Headingley Stadium

Leeds Rhinos Head Coach Rohan Smith takes charge of his first home game on Friday and he will oversee a welcome return for both Morgan Gannon and Liam Sutcliffe to his squad, though influential prop Matt Prior remains unavailable as he completes the second of his two-match suspension.

Trinity meanwhile are in line to welcome back captain Jacob Miller from suspension, while winger Tom Lineham could also feature after returning from injury for in the club's reserves last week as they look to bounce back from defeat at relegation rivals Toulouse last week.

Eddie Battye and Thomas Minns also re-join the squad, with Tom Johnstone, Brad Walker, Harry Bowes and Lewis Murphy dropping out.

Saturday - Hull KR v Catalans Dragons - 12.30pm kick off on Channel 4

Forward pair Elliot Minchella and Frankie Halton are again available for Hull KR after overcoming their injuries.

Brad Takairangi drops out of the squad and is likely to be unavailable for the remainder of the season after tearing his hamstring last week. Matt Parcell is also unavailable.

Steve McNamara is able to name an unchanged unchanged squad after his side's huge 40-8 home win over Warrington last weekend. The Dragons though are still without the likes of Mike McMeeken, Josh Drinkwater, Samisoni Langi and Dean Whare through injury, with a host of youngsters successfully stepping up in their respective absences.

Saturday - Hull FC v Wigan Warriors - 3pm kick off

Brett Hodgson makes two changes to his Hull FC squad ahead of Saturday's clash with Wigan and in a pair of boosts to his side, Kane Evans and Cameron Scott both return from injury - Scott hasn't played since February after suffering an ankle injury.

The pair replace Brad Fash, who will miss the game through concussion protocols, and youngster Jacob Hookem.

Wigan meanwhile are going strong ahead of next weekend's Betfred Challenge Cup Final. They make five changes to their squad ahead of Round 13 with Liam Marshall, John Bateman, Morgan Smithies, Liam Byrne and Jai Field all returning after resting for last week's trip to Huddersfield.

Kaide Ellis will serve his one-match suspension this week and misses out, while James McDonnell, Umyla Hanley, Logan Astley and Jack Bibby are the others who are replaced in Matt Peet's 21-man squad.
