Wigan Warriors ensured it would be an all-Wigan winning Finals Day, as they regained the Betfred Challenge Cup trophy from holders Hull KR.
Matt Peet’s men produced a ruthless display at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, extending their record amount of Challenge Cup Final wins to 22.
The Warriors brought the X Factor with seven sensational tries, including two from the 20-year-old Lance Todd Trophy winner, Jack Farrimond.
Peta Hiku hit back for the Robins on the stroke of half-time, but this was the only score that they could muster in the sweltering conditions.
Junior Nsemba then crossed the whitewash to give Wigan the ultimate control, before Adam Keighran scored a quickfire double. History was also made as Keighran equalled the amount of points scored by an individual player in a Men's Challenge Cup Final (20).
Late on, their were celebrations galore as Luke Thompson raced in and secured Wigan's victory in style.
