Rugby League is fun – it’s a fast, exciting game that everyone can play, you’ll make new friends and keep fit and healthy.
For a few children the fun is spoilt by adults who do or say things during Rugby League that hurt or frighten children. What these children are experiencing may be abuse. It is very important to remember that abuse is not your choice and not your fault. Don’t keep it to yourself.
Tell an adult you trust as soon as possible. This could be a parent, a Club Welfare Officer at the club, a teacher, your doctor or the school nurse.
Your Club Welfare Officer is there for all children involved in rugby league at your club and if you have a concern about yourself or a friend tell your Club Welfare Officer about your worries.
