After the Easter break, a complete fixture schedule resumed this week - here we take a look at how the weekend's action unfolded.

Premier Division | Normanton Knights 36-28 Egremont Rangers

High-flying Egremont Rangers succumbed to their first defeat of the season as Normanton Knights ran out deserved 36-28 winners at Queen Elizabeth Drive.

The visitors headed into the contest unbeaten but scores from Connor Wilson, Steven Lewis, Kieran Hinchliffe, Thomas Carroll and David Evans ensured the Knights became the first side to beat Egremont this season.

Rangers responded with five tries of their own as James Newton, Matthew Bewsher, Marcus Brien, Matthew Henson and Fraser McNee all crossed over the whitewash, as Bewsher added four goals.

However goal-kicking proved to be the ultimate difference between the sides, Normanton's Connor Taylor scored eight conversions as the hosts sent out a significant statement.

Division 1 | Thornhill Trojans 28-28 Skirlaugh

Thornhill Trojans overturned a 26-4 deficit to record a remarkable 28-all stalemate with Skirlaugh at Overthorpe Park.

The visitors flew out of the blocks and ran in five tries as Michael Johnson and former Hull FC youngster Reece Dean, who claimed Skirlaugh's Man of the Match award, both claimed a brace apiece whilst Carl Puckering added a further score - Michael Johnson landed four goals.

Despite producing an underwhelming first-half performance, the hosts regrouped and produced a stunning comeback and Danny Ratcliffe crossed twice before William Gledhill, Joss Ratcliffe, William Poching - son of the ex-Leeds star - and Jordan Lowther also scored.

Samuel Ratcliffe added two goals to earn a huge point for the Trojans.

Division 2 | West Bowling 36-24 Askam

West Bowling earned their first win of the 2018 season in dramatic fashion after condemning table toppers Askam to a 36-24 defeat at the Emsley Recreation Ground.

Robert Booth and Isaac Khan each grabbed a double whilst Kieran Baker and Ben Heald also crossed, Heald also added five goals to cap-off a dazzling all-round team performance.

Despite the efforts of Zak Steel, Jake Spedding, Adam Joseph and centre Mark Tyson, the hosts secured a monumental victory to move away from the foot of the table.

Division 3 | Beverley 68-8 Salford City Roosters

Scott Taylor's Beverley extended their 100 per cent record with a resounding 68-8 triumph over strugglers Salford City Roosters.

The Roosters did manage to claim a consolation through scoring eight points but Beverley ran in 12 tries in what can only be described as a stellar performance.

Lewis Poskett ran in a sublime quadruple as Joshua Poskitt and Alex Starlings claimed respective doubles.

Sam Brown, Lewis Straw and Billy Riby also crossed to ensure Beverley prolonged their perfect run.
