Premier Division | Normanton Knights v Egremont Rangers

It's first against third in the Premier Division this Saturday as Normanton Knights host Egremont Rangers.

The away side sit top of the pile on points difference alongside Hunslet Club Parkside who also have six points.

Egremont's perfect start to the 2018 season will be put to the test against the Knights, who also have a 100 per cent record thus far.

Normanton have won their two games and another at the weekend will see them go level on points with Rangers.

The hosts were promoted from Division 1 after finishing third last season and are yet to fear the first tier so far.

Egremont finished in the bottom half of the Premier Division in 2017 but both sides have made impressive starts to 2018 and this is a clash not to be missed.

Division 1 | York Acorn v Oulton Raiders

York Acorn host Oulton Raiders in Division One this weekend and both sides have two wins to their name so far in 2018.

Raiders are one place above Acorn in third on points difference but they both have four points from their opening two games.

Oulton were promoted in 2017 after finishing first in Division 2, while York just missed out on glory as they finished in fifth place in Division 1.

Saturday's fixture will be the first between the two sides since 2014 where the Raiders came out on top on both occasions and finished first in Division One to gain promotion to the first tier.

York's Jordan Potter is Division One’s top try scorer thus far with four to his name.

Division 2 | Wigan St Judes v Leigh East

It’s the battle of the borough as Leigh East make the short trip over to Wigan St Judes.

Leigh are tenth in Division 1 and are yet to win in 2018 after losing their opening two games against Stanningley and East Leeds. Wigan have made a promising start to the season as they have picked up four points from three games and sit third.

Both sides finished 2017 exactly where they are now in the table and St Judes won both of last year's meetings.

Wigan's Connor Parkinson, Gavin Rodden and Luke Barrett all have three tries so far this season.

Leigh will climb the table if they get their first win of the season but Wigan will go level on points with first place Askam if they come out on top and with the added spice of a derby game, this is one not to be lost.

Division 3 | Dewsbury Celtic v Waterhead Warriors

Waterhead Warriors travel to Dewsbury Celtic and both sides have made identically starts to 2018.

Celtic and Warriors have both lost one and won two, as Oldham St Annes sit between them in eighth place with a game in hand.

The two teams had a poor season in 2017 as Waterhead ended in 12th place while Dewsbury finished two places above in tenth.

When they met, the away side won the game as the Warriors were 22-40 victors in March and Celtic came out on top in a tight 24-28 affair in August.

A win for either side on Saturday will push them into the top half of the table onto four points.

Celtic’s Patrick Foulstone has four tries so far in two appearances.
