Shaun Wane was appointed the England Men Head Coach in February 2020.
He succeeded Wayne Bennett.
Prior to this, he coached Super League club Wigan Warriors (a side he also played 150 games for) and went on to become their longest serving coach in Super League history and fifth longest of all time.
In his eight years as Head Coach at Wigan, he won three Super League titles, one World Club Challenge, one Challenge Cup and one League Leaders’ Shield.
He departed Wigan at the end of the 2018 season, rounding off his reign with a victory in the Grand Final.
Since then, he has guided England to a Rugby League World Cup Semi-Final (2022), before leading his side to a 3-0 test series whitewash over Tonga the following year.
Most recently, England defeated Samoa 2-0 in a 2024 test series between the two nations, with Wane at the helm.
He is now proudly preparing his England side to face fierce rivals Australia in the upcoming ABK Beer Ashes Series - the first since 2003.
