General Info: North Midlands Knights is a growing amateur rugby league club based in South Normanton, Derbyshire, dedicated to developing and promoting the sport across the Midlands. Founded in 2025, we provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for junior players aged 6–11, youth players from U12s to U17s, and Open Age/Senior players aged 17 and above—supporting both boys and girls who want to learn, play, and thrive in rugby league. Our mission is to foster a lifelong love for rugby league, develop players both on and off the field, and build a positive, inclusive sporting culture rooted in respect, hard work, and camaraderie. As the club continues to grow into the 2026 season, we remain committed to expanding opportunities for young people to get involved—whether for enjoyment, development, or competition. To support this ambition, we’ve established a clear and aspirational pathway into professional rugby league teams, giving our players visibility and access to the highest levels of the sport. This pathway is already proving highly successful, with 10 players from our U17s squad engaging with professional development environments—an outstanding achievement that highlights both the talent within our club and the potential we are helping young athletes unlock.
