Wigan Warriors are crowned 2026 Academy Grand Final Champions

Zak Bielecki scored a hat-trick as Wigan Warriors defeated reigning champions Warrington Wolves 36-16 in the 2026 Academy Grand Final.

The Cherry and Whites retained their unbeaten season record with another impressive display but their opponents pushed them hard in an absorbing decider.

Wigan replicated what Warrington did last year by going all campaign undefeated and they signed off in style at The Brick Community Stadium.

As well as Bielecki's treble, Shea O'Connor, Sam Dickenson and Evan Buckley also crossed for Warriors.

Warrington, who trailed 16-6 at the break, scored tries via Leyton Haddrell, Reece Dobbs and Brady Bottomley but it wasn't enough to overcome a dominant Wigan side.
