Sauaso Sue of Hull KR has been found not guilty of a Grade E charge of spitting at a Warrington player in the Betfred Challenge Cup Final on Saturday.
While there was no doubt that he did spit, the independent Operational Rules Tribunal determined that he did not do so deliberately in the direction of a Warrington player.
All other players charged at the last two meetings of the Match Review Panel – on Thursday June 5 and Monday June 9 – accepted the recommended penalties, with the exception of Kelly Friend of Barrow Raiders.
She had been charged with Grade C Dangerous Contact in the Betfred Women’s Super League fixture against Warrington Wolves, but Barrow have successfully argued mistaken identity, and the charge will instead be taken by Kerrie-Anne Smith – who has five points added to her disciplinary record.
