BOXPARK Wembley to again host the Betfred Challenge Cup Finals’ Fan Zone

BOXPARK Wembley to again host the Betfred Challenge Cup Finals’ Fan Zone

With the finalists now confirmed for Rugby League’s big day out in London, BOXPARK Wembley is set to become Rugby Rox Park, the official Challenge Cup Finals’ Day Fan Zone on Saturday 8 June.

Former Rugby AM presenter Alex Simmons will be joined at the popular venue by a host of RL celebrities throughout the action-packed day, and he will also be returning as the in-Stadium Wembley DJ during the afternoon’s Cup Finals.

Wembley legends including Adrian Morley and Sean Long are booked in already, with more special guest appearances to be announced. Expect fan games, live music, singalongs and expert insight on the Cup Finals being played that day.

Alex Simmons said: “Last year it was an unbelievable honour to DJ at Wembley. Performing on the pitch and sharing such a special moment from the best seat in the house with some of the great friends I’ve made during my journey in Rugby League will live with me forever. The three Cup Finals played together makes for such a magical day that brings the Rugby League family together to create a phenomenal atmosphere – and what a great line-up we have. I cannot wait for Wembley, and I’ll have some proper tunes ready for the fans!”

BOXPARK Wembley (HA9 0JT) is located on Wembley Way, convenient for both Wembley Park tube station and the Wembley Central overland and it boasts three bars and 20 vendors offering a wide variety of street food.

Rugby Rox Park will kick off at 10am and run until 11pm with free entry – but fans can jump the queue and guarantee their entry with a pre-purchase ticket at £10 per person available HERE.

Rugby Rox Park is just one of the many reasons to join the party at Betfred Challenge Cup Finals Day on Saturday 8 June, with tickets selling fast for the triple-header of Cup action. Expect the Unexpected as Leeds Rhinos face St Helens in the second Women’s Final at Wembley (KO 11:45), followed by Warrington Wolves taking on Wigan Warriors in the Men’s (KO 15:00), with the action on the day rounded out by Sheffield Eagles against Wakefield Trinity in the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup Final (KO 17:45).

Cup Finals’ Day will also see Katherine Jenkins OBE and Britain’s Got Talent Finalist Maxwell Thorpe performing the anthems.
