RL Awards to be streamed on Our League

Tuesday night (10 October) sees the inaugural RL Awards celebrate the best of the sport from Betfred Super League, Championship, League 1, Women’s Super League and Wheelchair Super League and fans will be able to watch the ceremony live and exclusive on Our League.

The evening will see either Bevan French (Wigan Warriors), Tom Johnstone (Catalans Dragons) or Jack Welsby (St Helens) crowned as the Steve Prescott MBE Man of Steel, alongside the Woman of Steel award, which sees six players in contention; Keara Bennett (Leeds Rhinos), Jodie Cunningham (St Helens), Shona Hoyle (St Helens), Sinead Peach (York Valkyrie), Emily Rudge (St Helens) and Tara Jane Stanley (York Valkyrie)

The first recipient of the new Wheels of Steel award will also be unveiled, with Sebastian Bechara (Halifax Panthers), Josh Butler (Leeds Rhinos), Joe Coyd (London Roosters) and Lewis King (London Roosters) all nominated.

Ahead of the main event tomorrow night, the 2023 winner(s) of the Glen’s Spirit of Super League Award will be announced at 7pm on Monday 9 October.

The stream will start at 9:15pm and will include a re-cap of the awards presented in the first half of the evening before going live into the main room for the culmination of the ceremony.
