England’s Men’s squad will wear LANX shoes ahead of Saturday’s Rugby League World Cup Quarter Final against Papua New Guinea at Wigan’s DW Stadium.
The Lancashire-based business is one of the country’s leading shoemakers and even has a ‘Boston Brogues’ range named in honour of Wigan Warriors’ Rugby League legend Billy Boston. Now, England are hoping to march all the way to the World Cup Final with LANX shoes.
Marco Vaghetti, LANX founder and Rugby League fan, says:
“We are delighted to be supplying formal footwear to the England Rugby League squad. At Lanx we believe in quality in everything we do – just like Shaun Wane and his England squad. To see our footwear worn by some of the best rugby players in the world gives us immense pride. Like them we work hard as a team every day to deliver amazing results. It’s an honour to be associated with England Rugby League.”
England head coach, Shaun Wane, adds: "LANX is an exceptional business delivering exceptional products. The pride, passion and commitment LANX put in to their footwear mirrors what we are building with England Rugby League and we really value their support.”
LANX creates ‘proper shoes for the boardroom to the bar’. The full range is available at lanxshoes.com
