England v Fiji to be shown on RLWC2021 app

Friday’s Rugby League World Cup warm-up fixture between England and Fiji will be the first international match shown live on the newly-rebranded RLWC2021 app – allowing Rugby League fans to check out the form of two teams hoping to make a major impact over the next seven weeks.

Our League, the RFL app, has transitioned to be the official RLWC2021 app for the duration of the tournament – meaning more than 230,000 members already have free access to the best World Cup build-up, including Friday’s warm-up match.

Coverage will begin at 730pm, with the kick-off at 745pm – and it’s free, to allow as many England and Fiji fans as possible the chance to watch their teams – as well as the thousands who have already bought tickets for the AJ Bell Stadium.

Thousands more Rugby League fans from the competing countries are expected to join between now and November, for features including a match centre with live scores, stats and commentary updates, a predictor game with the chance to win a £10k car from sponsor Cazoo – and all the latest news plus exclusive video content and features.

As an added bonus, the Inter-Services Challenge fixture between the Army and the RAF which kicks off before the England-Fiji match at Salford’s AJ Bell Stadium, at 5pm, will also be shown live on the RLWC2021 app.

And next Monday’s official tournament launch from Manchester’s Museum of Science and Industry will also be streamed live on the RLWC2021 app from 3pm.

Details of more World Cup warm-up matches available to stream this weekend will follow soon.

The app can be downloaded for free from Apple and Android - search RLWC2021 in the App Store or Play Store.
