Rochdale Hornets have confirmed that head coach, Matt Calland has left the club by mutual consent.
Rochdale sit fifth in the table after losing to Swinton 53-22 on Sunday.
The Hornets have announced that Gary Thornton will replace Calland as head coach. Thornton was previously the assistant coach at Rochdale.
