Betfred Women's Super League Round-Up | July 31

Warrington Wolves’ domination of the Betfred Women’s Super League continued with a 102-0 win over Wakefield Trinity.

The Group 2 league leaders made it seven wins from seven and took their points scored tally to an impressive 454 after another three-figure haul.

They were dominant from the off and forged into a 40-0 lead at the break before racking up 62 in the second as they remain top of the pile.

Leeds Rhinos also enjoyed a dominant afternoon as they handed Huddersfield Giants an 82-0 defeat.

It was a try fest for the Rhinos as they crossed 16 times, with  Caitlin Beevers, Francesca Goldthorp, Courtney Winfield-Hill, Tasha Gaines, and Sophie Robinson scoring two apiece.

Castleford Tigers are still looking for their first point of the season after a 50-4 loss to Leigh Miners Rangers.

Barrow Raiders Ladies continued their impressive form with a 12-4 win over Featherstone Rovers.

Tries from Emily Stirzaker and Vanessa Temple laid the foundations of a seventh win from eight games.

Rovers drew first blood as Nat Carr crossed the line early in the first half but Stirzaker drew Barrow level and Temple put her side in the lead after she intercepted a pass and raced clear to score, with Jodie Litherland adding the conversion and a second-half penalty.

St Helens dug out an important 12-4 victory over York City Knights Ladies.

Tries from Zoe Harris and Tara Jones were enough for Saints, who remain in the hunt for the league leaders trophy.

In Saturday’s game, a late try from Jess Ingram earned London Broncos a 20-18 win against Cardiff Demons.
