Women's Rugby League Nines | All you need to know

After an enthralling day of action at Victoria Park in Warrington on May 1, the Women's Rugby League Nines Finals Day is all set for action on Sunday at Salford Red Devils' AJ Bell Stadium.

The pool matches in Warrington saw five pools of four teams, with this Sunday marking the finals of that competition and there will be a Nines women’s champion for England and France crowned for the first time after six play-off matches, semi-finals and a final.

The five qualifiers were Catalans, Leeds, Huddersfield, St Helens and York. Warrington were also undefeated on home turf in May and have been awarded a Wildcard into this Sunday's event.

Play will get underway at 10.45am and the final is set to kick off off at 2.50pm in Salford.

Games are played in nine-minute halves, tries are worth four points - or five if scored in the bonus area near the posts, with conversions, taken by drop kicks to speed up the play, worth two points.

For this tournament, squad sizes are unlimited, but 15 players must be named for each game. Sin bins last three minutes.

Entry to the day is just £5 for what's set to be a packed afternoon of action involving some of the country's best Women's Rugby League players.
