Betfred Championship Round 17 Round-Up

Leigh Centurions swatted aside Bradford Bulls with a 10-try, 56-6 Betfred Championship victory.

Krisnan Inu claimed a hat-trick, with John Asiata and Kai O'Donnell a brace apiece.

Tom Amone, Aaron Smith and Edwin Ipape all crossed too, with Kieran Gill mustering Bradford's sole reply.

Third-placed York City Knights suffered a shock 24-16 home loss to Barrow Raiders.

Jarrod Sammut and Ryan Shaw claimed two tries each as Barrow stole a vital win, with Joe Brown, Pauli Pauli and James Glover's efforts proving in vain for the hosts.

Halifax racked up seven tries en route to a 38-12 win at Dewsbury Rams to sit in fourth place in the table.

Matty Gee, Lachlan Walmsley, Joe Arundel, Joe Martin, Ben Tibbs, Ben Kavanagh and Louis Jouffret all troubled the scorers.

Calum Turner and Ollie Greensmith hit back for the outclassed hosts, who sit just one place off the foot of the table.

Dale Morton ran in a hat-trick but Batley could still only draw 26-26 at home against Whitehaven.

Luke Hooley, James Meadows and Johnny Campbell all claimed tries too, but the Bulldogs could not pull away from the visitors.

Ryan King crossed twice for Whitehaven, with Kieran Hudson, Andrew Bulman and Corentin Le Cam also in on the act.

Ben Jones-Bishop's hat-trick went unrewarded as his Sheffield Eagles side suffered a shock 36-28 defeat at London Broncos.

Alex Walker claimed a brace for the Broncos, who also saw Wellington Albert, Dalton Grant, Sitiveni Moceidreke and Iliess Macani cross the whitewash.

Kris Welham scored twice for Sheffield, along with Quentin Laulu-Togagae's score.

Matty Fozard and Sam Wilde both scored twice, with Kenny Baker and Kieran Dixon also crossing as Widnes Vikings thrashed bottom wide Workington Town 38-0.

Jack Broadbent ran in four tries as Featherstone Rovers thumped Newcastle Thunder 58-22 on Saturday.

Jack Bussey claimed a brace, with Mark Kheirallah, Morgan Smith, Joey Leilua, Junior Moors and Connor Jones all also crossing for further scores.

Newcastle did muster four tries of their own but were never truly in the contest.
