Kryan Johnson has signed a new one-year deal with Betfred Championship club Oldham RLFC.
Johnson – who has spent three seasons with Oldham since joining from Featherstone Rovers – has crossed for 12 tries in 35 appearances for the Roughyeds.
The 2019 season saw him score seven tries in 15 appearances helping Oldham gain promotion in the Betfred League 1 Play-Off Final against Newcastle Thunder.
Johnson said: “I’ve always enjoyed my time at Oldham, and I’m delighted to sign a new deal. I’m a proud Yorkshireman but Oldham is like a home from home even though it’s over the border.”
Oldham Head Coach, Matt Diskin, added: “We’ve got quality, depth and competition all across the board. Kryan is a smart lad with a great attitude and a great work ethic.
“Like everyone else he will be fighting for a place in the backs but I’m sure he’ll be ready for that, both physically and mentally.”
