Former Warrington Wolves star Ben Harrison has signed for hometown club Barrow Raiders for the 2021 season.
The 32-year-old loose forward last played in 2016 while on loan at Wakefield Trinity and stepped away from the game following a succession of injuries.
The hulking forward collected three caps for England between 2010 and 2012, while he represented Ireland at the 2008 Rugby League World Cup.
He also played in two Super League Grand Finals for Warrington, won a League Leaders' Shield in 2011 and claimed three Challenge Cup winners' medals during his time with the Wolves.
A statement from Barrow confirming his arrival today read:
"Barrow Raiders are delighted to announce the signing of Ben Harrison, the former England, Ireland and Warrington star.
"Ben has been out of the game for a little while but is in great shape and is relishing the opportunity to help Barrow battle for promotion at the top of League One.
"Ben has had a trophy laden career at the very top of the game with three Challenge Cup winners medals, two Grand Final appearances and a League Leaders' medal.
"Ben joins his hometown team and is looking forward to helping the production line of young talent that Barrow have on their books by helping to bring Super League standards to the club.
