Two legends of the sport will take part in the first Physical Disability Rugby League match to be played ahead of the Betfred Super League Grand Final.
Wakefield Trinity’s players will line up alongside Kangaroos star Paul Gallen, the ex-Cronulla Sharks and New South Wales captain, while Castleford Tigers will have the honour of playing alongside a former England, Great Britain and club legend, Dean Sampson, who made more than 400 appearances for them during a career that spanned three decades.
The PDRL fixture will be the first of its kind to take place prior to the Betfred Super League Grand Final, kicking off at 4.55pm
Both Wakefield and Castleford are set to compete in the PDRL Grand Final Day in Selby this weekend with Warrington Wolves and Leeds Rhinos also competing in the semi-finals. The four-team knockout tournament will be broadcast live on the Rugby Football League’s Youtube page.
