Volunteer roles at English Universities with World Cup on horizon

A number of exciting volunteer opportunities have become available across the English regions to support the England Universities' preparations for the 2021 World Cup.

Head coaches, assistant coaches and a team manager are being sought for each of the following regions.

  • North East
  • North West
  • Yorkshire
  • Midlands
  • South East
  • South West

And, in a change to previous arrangements, the Rugby Football League (RFL) will arrange for regional games to be staged at a single venue on the same day.

RFL education lead, Adam Hughes, explains: “Our previous approach to regional games has previously been quite fragmented. Holding them all on the same day is more convenient for teams and their players, and gives selectors greater oversight of the talent available as they plan for Origin and international games.”

Anybody interested in the volunteer roles should send their CV to adam.hughes@rfl.co.uk by Friday 4 October 2019.
