The eighth division club are into round three of the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup...

Wests Warriors are this week's rugby-league.com Club of the Week after a remarkable 26-0 win at Featherstone Lions secured their progress to the third round of the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup.

The Warriors, who are based in Chiswick and were crowned London Men's League champions in 2016, were only founded in 2014 and are making their first appearance in the Challenge Cup this year.

They qualified for the Challenge Cup by winning the Harry Jepson Trophy back in September after beating Northampton Demons 30-10 at Hemel Stags' Pennine Way Stadium.

Their 2017 Challenge Cup journey began with a 40-22 win over the Great Britain Police in London two weeks ago, but they managed to pull off one of the shocks of the round this weekend.

Despite finishing 31 places and three divisions below their NCL Division 1 hosts in 2016, tries from David Dyer (2), Jarred Bassett, Travis Robertson and Adam Wilson helped them to a memorable win.

One of London's newest clubs, they are now recruiting for players aged 16 and above.
