Round seven of the NCL brought thrills and spills aplenty with three big results in the Premier Division for Pilkington Recs, West Hull and Lock Lane.
Wigan St Pats and Kells were the big winners this round in Division One, while a thrilling draw between Hunslet Warriors and Crosfields home win over Bradford Dudley Hill were noteworthy.
East Leeds continued their unbeaten start to the year in Division Three with Oldham St Annes and Waterhead Warriors maintaining the pressure with wins at Eastmoor Dragons and Drighlington respectively.
We have picked out games at Pilkington Recs, Featherstone Lions, Dewsbury Moor and Leigh East to focus on this time around.
Premier Division
Pilkington Recs 13 Wath Brow Hornets 4
Pilkington Recs turned the form book upside down at Ruskin Drive on Saturday with an ultra committed effort that was able to dull the sting of Wath Brow Hornets.
Hornets took the lead before the break when quicksilver hooker Ellison Holgate went through the defence to ground and make it 4-0 to them at half-time.
That 28th-minute score was all that separated the sides until influential Andy Morris found his way through after 49 minutes and Kyran Knapper goaled.
Five minutes later, Pilks fashioned another try with Owain Abel grounding and the Pilks star stretched their advantage with ten minutes remaining, potting a drop goal to take them seven points clear. Then in the final minute, Wath Brow gifted a penalty and Knapper was able to put it between the posts allowing Pilkington Recs to celebrate victory.

Division One
Featherstone Lions 32 Milford 12
Featherstone Lions got the better of Milford in their Division One battle. It would be fair to say that neither side has made the start to the season they would have wanted but on this evidence, the Lions have that bit more firepower currently.
The hosts posted seven tries with Jake Roberts claiming two as they swept aside their visitors.
It was scoreless for the first 25 minutes before Ryan Martin went in for the Lions. Roberts followed him after 29 minutes before Sam Best responded with a self converted Milford try to close the gap to 10-6 at half-time.
James Perkins, Roberts and Sam Wilkinson Pycock all scored for Featherstone Lions in a profitable third quarter before Scott Watson's try and a second goal from Best threatened to make a game of it. But two tries in three minutes at the end from Davi Garahan and Mike Wise secured the win.

Division Two
Dewsbury Moor 30 Dewsbury Celtic 12
The big Dewsbury derby in Division Two didn't disappoint with a dominant second half tipping the balance in favour of Moor.
Both sides saw a yellow card each, Bradley Adams sin-binned for the hosts after going head to head with one of his opposition and Mike Foulstone for Celtic as a result of running in, while Paul Mennell was also dismissed for an alleged head tackle.
The sides were locked at 8-8 at half-time with the visitors claiming two unconverted tries after James Samme had opened the scoring for Dewsbury Moor. Aiden Ineson converted and added a penalty before half-time after Mike Foulstone had scored two tries for Celtic.
Three tries in the first 14 minutes of the new half tipped the balance in favour of the hosts as Joe Berry, George Croisdale and Tobias Richardson all took advantage of the Moor purple patch.
Spirited, the visitors hit back with their third try by Nath Waring but Croisdale made sure of the points and local bragging rights with the decisive final try.

Division Three
Leigh East 32 Hensingham 24
Leigh East snapped a three-game losing sequence with a home success over Cumbrians Hensingham.
East made a rapid start and led 10-0 after ten minutes thanks to an early try from Nathan Gaskell. Adam Holland added the first of four goals and things got even better when Jay Boyd fired a long ball to Kieron Prescott and he zipped downfield for the second try from 55 metres.
Hensingham showed what they are capable of when swift passing left released Travis Scott to the corner and they followed this with two more rapid tries from Logan Holgate and full-back Scott Egan. Noel Branthwaite added two goals and the visitors led 10-16 after 26 minutes.
East struck again with Prescott laying on the final pass for Bernard Aboagye to score in the corner and then right on the stroke of half-time Connor Grainey went through the middle and Prescott supported. Despite being hauled down, a quick play the ball gave enough time and space for Zac Nicholls to go over by the posts and Holland's second goal made it 20-16 at half-time to the hosts.
Right at the start of the new half, Hensingham heaped pressure on themselves when the kick-off didn't go the required distance. Leigh East moved into position and a switch of direction brought Gaskell his second try.
The centre could have had a hat-trick but for some stern defence and had to leave the field with injury after a four-minute stoppage. This didn't put the hosts off and they launched a deep attack from a scrum inside their own half with the ball eventually reaching Ben Wharton and he was able to add a spectacular finish. Holland completed his goal haul to make it 32-16 and although the visitors finished strongly with tries from Holgate and Callum Morgan, East were always that bit better and came away with victory.
