In a flash, we are now a quarter of the way through the season and there are interesting stories developing in all four divisions.
West Hull continues to set the pace in the Premier Division with a solid win over Siddal while in Division One just two points separate Oulton Raiders at the top and Ince Rose Bridge in seventh. A similar pattern is emerging in Division Two with little splitting Crosfields, Heworth, Woolston Rovers, Clock Face Miners, Normanton Knights and Barrow Island, while Division Three has Oldham St Annes and Shaw Cross Sharks on the coattails of East Leeds.
This week we look at how things went between Thornhill Trojans and Egremont Rangers, Oulton Raiders and West Bowling, Woolston Rovers and Barrow Island, and Hensingham against Shaw Cross Sharks.
Premier Division
Thornhill Trojans 14 Egremont Rangers 12
It has been a wretched start to the season for Thornhill Trojans, but at the weekend, they collected their second win of the season over Egremont Rangers.
Will Gledhill opened the scoring for the hosts but Egremont hit back to establish a 4-12 lead by half-time. First Matt Hutchins collected a charge down to go half the length of the pitch.
Tom Horner was sinbinned after a high tackle for the visitors but Thornhill couldn't take advantage and instead it was Aaron Turnbull that crossed with Kristian Tyson goaling for a second time.
The second half was a nervy affair but Thornhill broke the deadlock through another unconverted effort from George Woodcock.
Joel Gibson, was the hero of Trojan's first win of the season and repeated the dose with a crucial try that he converted to prove the difference between the two teams.

Division One
Oulton Raiders 19 West Bowling 18
Oulton Raiders returned to the summit of Division One after a close encounter with West Bowling.
Hooker Nathan Waters grabbed the first try for Oulton, goaled my Kieron Walpole in the twelfth minute.
Logan Simpson responded for West Bowling, with Harry Williams adding the first of three conversions. Kyle Carter then put the visitors in front after 20 minutes and the frantic nature of the first half continued when Walpole went over for an unconverted score. Virtually from the restart, West Bowling replied through Nathaniel Light and Williams boot ensured an eight-point advantage in the 28th minute.
Prop Lawrence Dibb hauled Oulton back after 33 minutes and Walpole's second goal made sure that the deficit was just two points at half-time.
The second half brought a lot fewer points, but more tension. Walpole kicked a penalty to draw the hosts' level on the hour and both sides traded field position into the last ten minutes before halfback Danny Mackintosh came up with the crucial play - kicking a drop goal to secure the win for Oulton Raiders.

Division Two
Woolston Rovers 42 Barrow Island 28
Five second-half tries from the hosts tipped the balance of this Round six tie in Division Two.
There was little between Woolston Rovers and visitors Barrow Island in the first half.
Kieran Jones scored the first try for the hosts in the ninth minute with Chris Forster converting. Barrow Island responded through Adam Ford but Woolston extended their lead with the first of a hat-trick from Adam Files.
Ten minutes from half-time, Aidan Wright went in and Adam Jackson converted to make it 12-10 at the interval.
Two tries in the first seven minutes of the new half set Woolston on their way. Callum Moore and Files getting over the line to open a 24-10 lead.
Barrow hit back with tries either side of the hour through Dan Wright and Jake Stockdale. Sam Wood and Forster's fifth goal again stretched the home advantage but a nervous final ten minutes was set up after Sam Jones went in and Adam Jackson's fourth goal made it 30-28.
Woolston were not going to let this one slip however with Adam Files completing his treble before Harry Files rounded off the win in the final minute and Forster finished with seven goals.

Division Three
Hensingham 16 Shaw Cross Sharks 20
Only the boot of Dec Tomlinson separated these two sides in a closely fought Division Three encounter.
Both sides scored four tries each with Tomlinson's two goals proving the difference in an entertaining clash.
Nathan Wright opened the scoring for the visitors after eight minutes but the hosts responded after 21 minutes through Callum Morgan, who popped up again before half-time to secure an 8-4 half-time advantage to Hensingham.
Morgan was sin-binned early in the second half and Ryan Chalkley and Brandon Bates took advantage, with Tomlinson adding his first goal to open an 8-14 advantage. Things got even better for the visitors when Josh Frain scored a Tomlinson converted try in the 56th minute but Brad Baines was then sin-binned for foul play.
Hensingham rallied with Scott Egan and Kurt Maudling crossing for tries, but it wasn't quite enough, with Shaw Cross winning to rise to third place.
