On St Patrick's Day, re-live a Rugby League World Cup classic between England and Ireland in the Quarter Finals of the 2000 Rugby League World Cup and Leeds Rhinos' Headingley Stadium!
England had finished second in Group A with comfortable victories over Russia and Fiji following an opening game defeat to Australia.
As for Ireland, they topped Group D after securing wins over Samoa, Scotland and the Aotearoa Mãori side.
The England side that took to the field that day:
Paul Wellens, Chev Walker, Kris Radlinski, Keith Senior, Darren Rogers; Sean Long, Paul Deacon; Stuart Fielden, Paul Rowley, Paul Anderson, Adrian Morley, Mike Forshaw, Andy Farrell.
And on the interchange bench were Tony Smith, Scott Naylor, Jamie Peacock and Harvey Howard, with the side being led by Head Coach John Kear.
