The hosts built a 16-0 interval advantage. Stuart Biscomb scored first and was soon followed to the line by Jacob Crossland. Worthington was sinbinned for using some choice language and this didn't help St Judes cause. When Ashley Haynes crossed in the 29th minute and Joe Crossland added his second goal, Normanton looked comfortable. Early in the second half Joel Pell added a fourth try to make it 20-0 before Judes began their fightback.
