Huddersfield Giants made it back-to-back victories to kick off the Betfred Super League season with a 26-12 win against Hull Kingston Rovers.
Tries from forward trio Chris McQueen, captain Luke Yates and Josh Jones gave Ian Watson’s side a 16-0 lead at the interval.
Jermaine McGillvary went over just seven minutes into the second half to continue the Giants control of the game.
A Brad Takairangi try on the hour-mark gave the Robins hope before Mikey Lewis scored his second try of the season with six minutes remaining.
However, a late comeback proved too much for the visitors and McQueen would seal the victory for Huddersfield in the closing stages, doubling his account for the afternoon
