Featherstone Rovers have announced the re-signing of Matty Wildie on a one-year deal.
Wildie left the Rovers in 2018 and has since played in the Betfred Championship with Bradford Bulls before spending the 2020 season representing Leigh Centurions in the Betfred Super League.
The 31-year-old has also previously represented Wakefield Trinity, Batley Bulldogs, Doncaster and Dewsbury Rams totalling 167 professional appearances, 49 of which came in his first stint with Featherstone.
On the move, Wildie said: “I’m delighted, really enjoyed my time here last time, the fans are great, the club’s great, it’s got loads of ambition and they’re striving to be in Super League which is something I really want to be a part of.”
Featherstone Rovers Football Manager, Ian Hardman, added: “Matty is a very experienced, talented performer whose versatility will prove a real asset for the club in 2022.
“Matty knows the club very well and will fit into this environment immediately, so we are very fortunate to have him on board.”
