Shaun Wane and Paul Anderson hold joint England training sessions

'Fall out' training sessions are taking place this week for performance squad players ahead of England's autumn internationals.

England play France in Perpignan on Saturday 23 October, while England Knights face Jamaica at Castleford’s Mend-a-Hose Jungle on Friday 15 - a testimonial match for the Tigers’ own ‘Reggae Warrior’ Jordan Turner.

Head coaches Shaun Wane and Paul Anderson were at Salford’s AJ Bell Stadium yesterday (Tuesday 5 October) to oversee the joint session ahead of finalising their squads on 17 and 10 October respectively. England Knights will go into camp in Leeds from Monday 11 October, with Shaun Wane’s squad gathering in Manchester from Monday 18 October.

England Head Coach Shaun Wane said: "The players have had a tough year and been through a lot, so this week’s sessions are about players spending time together and working on a few things for the France match. France in Perpignan will be a tough test and I’ll pick the strongest squad I can.”

England Knights Head Coach Paul Anderson adds: "The Knights and senior programmes have been very close since Shaun came in, and the more players we can expose to this environment the better. The connectivity between our programmes is massive, but the Knights isn’t only about gaining experience – we want to win against a strong Jamaica team."

England’s match against France at Catalans Dragons' Stade Gilbert Brutus is part of a double-header featuring the Women’s International between the two nations.
