Leeds Rhinos and Leyland Warriors reach Wheelchair Grand Final

Leeds Rhinos and Leyland Warriors will battle it out in the 2021 Wheelchair Rugby League Grand Final after both recording impressive semi-final wins over the weekend.

The Rhinos are now one win away from completing a historic treble after a dramatic 66-63 semi final win over rivals Halifax in Morley on Sunday afternoon.

The Rhinos have already won the Challenge Cup with victory over the Argonauts and finished top of the league at the end of the regular season.

They took control early on in the final four clash before holding off a late comeback from the visitors to book their final spot.

In opposition for the Grand Final will be Leyland Warriors who enjoyed a huge 76-38 win over The Argonauts.

Leyland - who finished second in the table - are aiming to finish an incredible 2021 season on a a high after overcoming The Argonauts and their England stars to secure their place in the final.

The Wheelchair Rugby League Grand Final will take place on Sunday, September 19, 3pm kick off at Medway Sports Centre, Gillingham, with the Championship showpiece between Warrington Wolves and Hereford Harriers getting underway at 12pm

Admission on the door is £5 adults, £2 children or £12 for a family ticket (two adults and up to 4 children).
