Aaron Jones-Bishop of Hunslet has been suspended for eight matches after being found guilty of a Grade F charge of “Other Contrary Behaviour – biting†in the Betfred League 1 fixture against Rochdale Hornets on August 22.
Jones-Bishop was found not guilty of a separate Grade C charge of punching in the same fixture.
An appeal against the eight-match suspension was rejected on Thursday evening (September 2).
Also at Wednesday evening’s Operational Rules Tribunal hearings, the three-match suspension imposed on the Leeds forward Zane Tetevano for a reckless high tackle graded C in the Betfred Super League fixture at Wigan on August 25 was upheld.
