Tara-Jane Stanley scored four tries and Hollie Dodd three as Castleford overpowered Warrington 48-12 to climb to fourth in the Women's Super League.

Stanley also landed six goals from nine attempts for a personal haul of 28 points as the Tigers raced away from a battling Wolves side with a strong second-half showing at Victoria Park.

Georgia Roche and Evelyn Vaigalu also touched down in each half for the Tigers, who edged a tight first period 18-8.

Stanley and Roche got the visitors off to a strong start but Warrington pegged them back with tries from Georgia Sutherland and Charlize Magraw.

Dodd scored either side of the interval to put the Tigers in control before Stanley and Vaigalu increased the lead.

Sutherland reduced the deficit with her second try but Stanley added two more and Dodd completed her hat-trick to wrap up a victory that lifted the Tigers above York.

Featherstone proved too strong for Bradford as they ran out 42-12 winners at the Millennium Stadium.

Again most of the damage was done in the second half after Rovers had twice trailed in the opening period before hitting back to lead 14-12 at the break.

Hannah Watt, Chloe Billington and Jess Courtman all crossed for Fev in the opening 40 minutes.

Rovers began to take a firm grip with Courtman's second before Cairo Newby and Lauren Roberts also touched down and Brogan Churm grabbed a late double.

Sunday's other two scheduled matches were not played with leaders Leeds and second-placed St Helens awarded 24-0 wins over Huddersfield and Wakefield respectively due to problems over their opponents had raising teams.
