Jonny Lomax has been withdrawn from England’s squad for tonight’s match against the Combined Nations All Stars on medical grounds.
England medical staff made the decision after the St Helens stand-off sustained a leg injury in training. Lomax will return to his club for further treatment.
He will be replaced in the squad by his Saints teammate Jack Welsby, the former England Academy representative and England Knights squad member who scored the winning try in last season’s Betfred Super League Grand Final.
