A superb second half where Ellis Robson, Ant Walker, Steve Crossley and Thomas Doyle grabbed tries to add to Jordan Lilley’s two-minute score.
Danny Brough kicked 11 points for the hosts, while Newcastle scored through Reece Dean's eight points and Kieran Gill's try.
Elsewhere, Halifax Panthers moved up to sixth with a 46-12 thrashing of Sheffield Eagles.
Nick Rawsthorne, who finished with 16 points, James Woodburn-Hall, Sam Hewitt and Kevin Larroyer all grabbed braces alongside Ben Kavanagh's first-half try for Halifax.
Blake Broadbent and Ryan Millar scored for Sheffield, who had forward Scott Wheeldon sent off with nine minutes remaining.
