Hull FC held off Warrington Wolves' second-half fightback to record a 21-12 victory at the KCOM Stadium.
The hosts led 18-0 but were made to sweat late on by the Wolves in a contest that saw both sides end with 12 men.
Marc Sneyd kicked six goals and ended the scoring with a drop goal for Hull, who remain unbeaten at home this season.
Bureta Faraimo scored the only try of the first half, which ended with Hull enjoying a 10-point lead.

Warrington's Dec Patton saw red for a swinging arm early in the second and Hull took advantage through a Carlos Tuimavave try on his first appearance of the season.
But the visitors fought back, with Jack Hughes charging through a gap for one try before Ryan Atkins also went over.
Stefan Ratchford kicked both conversions to bring his side to within six points but, despite Liam Watts' dismissal for a head-butt, Hull held on.

Hull coach Lee Radford was unhappy with how his side allowed Warrington back into the contest.
"I was really pleased with the manner in which we went 18-0 up but really disappointed with everything after that,” he said.
“When you go a man down you can sometimes find that energy and it can galvanise you. They were forced into pushing a play and I felt they looked dangerous. I was panicking towards the back end.
“But it’s nice to have a platform to build on. It’s really early in the season and we’re still trying to find our feet."

Warrington coach Steve Price said: "I thought we were better when we played with 12 men. We showed a lot more intent.
“We needed that attitude from the opening whistle. It was disappointing to get to that stage.
“We got back in the fight and were coming over the top of them but it just wasn’t enough.”
