Hunslet win League 1 Shield

Hunslet lifted the 2017 Kingstone Press League 1 Shield after a 32-12 win over London Skolars  on Sunday.

It was the South Leeds side’s second win over Skolars in as many weeks after beating them in the final round of the Super 8s fixtures last weekend.

Liam MacKay gave the hosts a 12th minute lead although Lamont Bryan’s 21st minute converted try squared the scores at 6-6.
