Wilde links up with London Broncos

London Broncos have signed forward Sam Wilde on loan from Warrington Wolves for the rest of the season.

The Broncos made their move for the 21-year-old second rower ahead of Friday's transfer deadline, ensuring he can play in the Super 8s Qualifiers.

London coach Andrew Henderson said: "Sam joins us at an important time of the season and will give us much-needed cover in the back row.

"He has gained some big game Super League experience already for a young player, which could prove valuable to us in our push for promotion."

Wilde was in Warrington's starting line-up for last October's Grand Final but has made only three substitute appearances this year and spent a month on loan to Widnes Vikings.

Warrington are also set to loan winger Kevin Penny to Rochdale.
