33-year-old Cronk said the decision was entirely family orientated: “To Tara and my family, thank you for your patience. If it was a football decision I'd be staying here for a very long time."
"There are a few things that are more important than football, such as family, getting married and starting a family.
"I've been pretty selfish in my approach to my football career and it's about time I put someone else first.”

Peackock and Sinfield prepare for London Marathon
Leeds Rhinos legends Kevin Sinfield and Jamie Peacock will be taking on one of their biggest challenges as they prepare to take on the London Marathon later this month.

Salary Cap Rise
Earlier this week, Super League clubs voted in favour of raising the salary cap to £2.1m a year by the 2020 season.
With the intention of retaining top talent and attracting players from Rugby Union, the cap will incrementally rise to £1.9m in 2018, £2m in 2019 and £2.1m in 2020.
The changes also include raising the maximum number of marquee players in squads from one to two.

“Salford started putting together their squad at the beginning of last year and they look a settled side now. Coming through last year’s Million Pound Game has given them a mental toughness, as well as a motivation never to be involved again.
“Wakefield recruited well this year and I really like their big men - when they play well they’re a good side.”
