Since changing their name from South Wales Ironmen and moving to Stebonheath Park in 2017, the Welsh club had suffered 43 straight defeats, including all 15 in 2019.
They made a nonsense of that record on Saturday by establishing a 20-0 lead at the break thanks to tries from Dalton Desmond-Walker, Ash Bateman, Morgan Evans and Archie Snook.
A Reece Rance try early in the second half threatened a comeback but second scores for Bateman and Snook, plus a try for Stephen Parry, completed a superb afternoon for the Raiders, despite Coventry crossing twice late on through Errol Carter and Cobi Green.

In Saturday's other fixture, second-placed Newcastle Thunder had a 34-16 victory over London Skolars.
Thunder led 18-0 early in the second half after tries from Mikey Lewis and Matthew Wright (2), but Skolars levelled through Omari Caro, Jerome Yates and Jordan Williams.
Wright completed his hat-trick late on, while Nicholas Newman and Muizz Mustapha also crossed.
North Wales Crusaders’ pursuit of a play-off spot suffered a blow after they were beaten 30-0 at home by Doncaster RLFC on Sunday.
The Dons, who moved up to fourth after a sixth win from their last seven matches, scored tries through Matty Chrimes, Kyle Kesik, Jason Tali, Connor Bower and Connor Scott.
Workington Town had nine different tryscorers in a 52-4 rout of Keighley Cougars at Derwent Park.
Declan O’Donnell, Jonathan Walsh, Fuifui Moimoi, Perry Singleton, Carl Forber, Tom Curwen, Gordon Maudlin, Sam Hewitt and Scott Rooke all crossed.
