Castleford Tigers Women have confirmed a groundbreaking loan deal with French side Déesses Catalanes.
Jasmine Cudjoe, Hollie Dodd, Lucy Eastwood and Esme Reynolds will all head out to Perpignan this weekend and join up with the French league leaders.
The four players will stay in France for three weeks and will be available to play in upcoming games for the Catalan outfit.
The duration of the loan means that all four players will return in time for the start of the Women's Super League which gets underway on March 29th away at St. Helens.
This move also gives these players an incredibly rare opportunity to spend their pre-season abroad whilst getting a taste of a different culture on and off the field.
All four players will be studying French and mixing it up with some of the best players in France.

Speaking about the move, Cudjoe said: "Whilst we’re there we're going to be training with the team and we’re going to be playing a few games. I’ve seen them play, they’re a really good team and they’ve got some really good players."
Eastwood added: "I'm really excited to go along with my best friends to play rugby. There will be different coaches there so we’ll experience different coaching styles and playing with different girls.”
Head coach Lindsay Anfield also gave her reaction saying: "Firstly I’d like to thank Déesses Catalanes for organising this incredible opportunity. We have a strong relationship following our two games; one in France and one over here in England.
"I hope the girls enjoy this rare opportunity. This really is a ground-breaking and historic move for women’s rugby league."
