Toulouse Olympique have confirmed the acquisition of French hooker Éloi Pélissier on a two-year deal.
Pélissier’s career began with fellow French side Catalans Dragons for whom he made a total of 155 appearances. Pélissier would go on to enjoy spells with Leigh Centurions and Lézignan Sangliers before moving to London Broncos ahead of the 2018 season.
The hooker helped the Broncos achieve promotion overcoming Toronto Wolfpack in the 2018 Million Pound Game before being an integral part of their 2019 Betfred Super League squad.
The 29-year-old has featured in the Rugby League World Cup on two occasions with France, helping them reach the Quarter Finals back in 2013.
Pélissier said: “I am very proud to join Toulouse Olympique.
“I love challenges and it is a great challenge to join a very ambitious team with which I hope to re-live Super League, as with London in 2018.
“Rugby League in France needs a second club in Super League, and I will give 100% every second to contribute.”
Toulouse Olympique President, Bernard Sarrazain, said: “Eloi is a super recruit for our club, both on a personal level because he will bring us all his experience at the highest level and on a sporting level, with his explosiveness and toughness, which are key assets for the position of hooker.”
