Round 18 of the Betfred Super League marked the annual State of Mind Round. This year’s theme looks at the pressures of loss - be it a relationship, a job, income, a home or a bereavement, and how people can deal with it.

Danny Jones Defib fund take on 3 Peaks Challenge

Lizzie Jones led a group on the National 3 peaks challenge this weekend, the aim - to climb Britain's three highest peaks; Ben Nevis, Scarfell Pike & Mount Snowdon in under 24hrs!

Joining Lizzie on the fundraising journey were a number of familiar Rugby League faces including Barrie McDermott, Terry O'Connor and Kevin Sinfield as well as Kait, Becky and Joe - colleagues from the Rugby Football League.

Despite some challenging conditions and big amounts of fatigue the group completed the challenge in a fantastic 22 hours! 👏 👏

Inglis returns to Souths

In a week where Mental Health was the focus of Round 18 in Betfred Super League, it was great to see Greg Inglis return to training with his South Sydney teammates following a spell of rehabilitation

Where are they now...Jordan James

After more than 275 games in a career lasting over 10 years, ex-Wigan, Salford & Wales Prop Jordan James has set out on a new venture...cutting hair! James and his wife opened the Barber shop, Cult Barbers a few weeks ago in Monton.

So any Wigan or Salford fans who fancy getting a game-day fade from an ex-pro make sure you head on down!

 

Brad Fittler to face England at RLWC2017

Former Kangaroo great Brad Fittler will go head to head with Wayne Bennett's England in the upcoming RLWC2017 after taking over the coaching duties for Lebanon.

Fittler and Bennett, who've previous worked together for the All-stars, will meet in Sydney on November 4 in the second round of group games.
