This weekend's fixtures kick off on Saturday with two games taking place.
The first of these games sees two teams languishing at the bottom of the table looking to kick start their season, as London Skolars host Keighley Cougars.
Both sides have won and lost one of their opening two games, however the Cougars come into the match in the best form having won in the Coral Challenge Cup last weekend. Skolars on the other hand suffered a disappointing defeat at home to North Wales Crusaders.
The second of Saturday's games will be played in the North East as West Wales Raiders make the trip to Newcastle Thunder.
The two teams played each other last weekend in the Challenge Cup where Newcastle won 48-0.
Raiders have lost three in a row in the league and hold the worst defensive record in the league, conceding an average of 38 points per game. The distance to travel, combined with their poor defensive form are worsened by the fact that Newcastle are the highest scoring team in the division, with an average of 34 points per game.
On Sunday, North Wales Crusaders will be looking to carry on from a good away win in the challenge cup at London Skolars, however they are winless as it stands in the league and face top-of-the-table Hunslet who have won two from two.
The visitors have conceded a total of just 22 points, their last game proving their best defensive record as they conceded just four points at home to West Wales Raiders.
Whitehaven host Doncaster in a mid-table clash as both teams aim to push on from an average start, meanwhile Coventry Bears take on Workington Town in a battle for top as both teams currently sit on 4 points.
