The club is getting ready to start the spring season, which starts on Thursday 19th April 2018 at Brumby Hall Sports Club in Scunthorpe at 6:00pm with a social 'come and try' session.
The session is open to everybody, and the club would encourage those who have never played Touch before to come down and give it go. There will be a number of helpers on hand to make sure everybody has a great experience.
Alongside the social session, Scunthorpe Touch in partnership with local solicitors firm Mason, Baggott and Garton, will be running a spring social league.
The social league is for over 14s and allows those that want to be a bit more competitive, and enter teams into a fun and social competition. Teams can consist of work colleagues, friends, and family or their sports team mates.
Jo Drapier, Scunthorpe Touch chair said: "We are really excited for 2018, and want to see more people in Scunthorpe and North Lincolnshire giving Touch a go!
"It's a great activity which brings lots of benefits, not just getting physically fit, but it's a way to meet new people and have fun at the same time."
Touch is 6-a-side with unlimited substitutions
A mixed gender sport that is a version of non-contact rugby
"It provides an excellent opportunity for all ages to enjoy all the benefits of team sport in a friendly environment.”
The Mason Baggott and Garton Social League will start on Thursday 26th April 2018 at Brumby Hall Sports Club in Scunthorpe and will cost £120 per team for the full 8 weeks of the league.
